The winter rally 2003 at Loskopdam was great. A small turnout of rats but an intimate weekend.Friday night saw Bruce "footing the bill" at the restaurant. Thanks Bruce.
Saturday morning saw the rats heading for the "boatpub" as the rugby was on telly. Sadly we ended up at the pool. A hearty braai that night did cheer us up. Happy birthday to Jackie - hope you enjoyed your prawns! Our rodents were treated to a golfcart ride by the park security!
Sunday morning was breakfast at Beth and Roys logcabin. Very busy with the teenager rodents chatting in the lounge, tea and coffee being passed around and Roy finally got his avo sandwich. Some rats did the trip on their bikes. The weather was hot and again a good weekend.
Welcome back Kevin and Caryn and our youngest rodent. 24 August 2003 was a breakfast at Hornbill Lodge/Legends at Magaliesburg. The bikes met in town and did a breakfast run to Hornbill. It was a sunny morning so the rats sat outside and tucked into a good breakfast. We had a walk around and the grounds are lovely with a huge swimmingpool. We will certainly do this again. Thanks to Kevin for arranging this outing.
"Wally of the day" has to go to rodents Craig and Kevin who did not go and collect their cellphones at the "Dome party" the night before!!
